Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS) - IV Therapy Team Opportunity
About the Role
LCHS have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to join their IV Therapy Team. This role is open to all registered practitioners interested in delivering IV Therapy in a community setting, whether you are newly qualified or have relevant experience.
The IV Therapy Team aims to provide care to patients within their own homes or community settings. This helps prevent acute hospital admissions, ease bed capacity in hospitals, and deliver care closer to home for patients.
Job Details
- Work Schedule: 7 days a week, with part-time posts and bank roles considered.
- Location: Based in Spalding, with travel across the county required.
- Team Sites: Cross-county working with teams based in Gainsborough, Skegness, and Spalding.

Training and Development
A bespoke robust training package is available. You will work closely with members of the IV team and complete necessary additional training with other service providers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients in their own home or community settings.
- Work in partnership with patients, carers, and other health professionals.
- Promote health and social wellbeing by developing individualized care plans.
- Accountable for the daily delivery of IV Therapy through a CVAD device.
- Interventions include assessment, treatment, evaluation, observations, drug calculations, blood taking, dressing, and recording visits and care in a patient electronic record.
