Company Description
Hey 👋, we’re Haz and Wyatt, the founders of Pally.
Pally is a personal assistant that lives in your text messages. You text it like a friend. It replies to the messages you’ve been avoiding, books the dinner, chases the invoice, and handles the hundred small things that pile up in a week.
We’re YC S25, based in San Francisco, and growing fast. London is our first city outside the US. We want it to become the city where everyone has a Pally.
Role Description
You’ll be our first and only person in London. No office, no manager looking over your shoulder, no playbook. You get a budget, a Slack channel with us, and the whole city. Your job is to make London love Pally. In practice that means:
- An event every week. Dinners, run clubs, founder breakfasts, pub quizzes, whatever gets the right people in a room with Pally on their phones.
- One big Pally party every month. Hundreds of people, a venue people talk about, a night people post about.
- Sponsors. You’ll pitch venues, brands, and partners to fund and co-host what you run. You own the relationship end to end.
- Logistics. Venues, catering, guest lists, door, AV, budget. You’ve done this before and you enjoy it.
- Being the face of Pally in London. Founders, operators, creators, and the people who host the good stuff in this city should know you by name.
- Feeding it back. You’ll hear what people love and what annoys them. You tell us directly and we ship the fix.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We’ll measure you on one thing: how many Londoners are using Pally every week, and how much they love it.
Profile
You’ve organised events people still talk about. Maybe a society at uni, a supper club, a community for your industry, a festival stage, a company’s offsites. The scale matters less than the fact you did it yourself and people came back.
You’re comfortable walking into a room where you know nobody and leaving with ten new friends. You can email a brand’s marketing lead on Monday and have a signed sponsorship by Friday.
You’re self-sufficient. Nobody will tell you what to do each day. You’ll decide, do it, and report back with numbers.
You use Pally every day and have opinions about it.
