Role Mission
We’re seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Community Manager with a passion for building engaged online communities. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for developing innovative community engagement strategies, bringing them to life, and strategically managing their performance across platforms to resonate deeply with our client's audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Community Strategy & Leadership: Lead day-to-day community management across social platforms, defining and implementing strategies aligned with client objectives and brand aesthetics.
- Stay at the forefront of algorithm updates, emerging platform features and industry trends, developing innovative community-first concepts and reactive content that keeps brands relevant to the speed of culture.
- Content Creation & Production: Pick up an iPhone to capture and execute box pops, live event coverage, social-first concepts and behind-the-scenes content, while supporting creative ideation and content calendars.
- Create compelling post captions that elevate visuals and drive engagement, working closely with designers and the production team on more involved campaigns and shoots.
- Performance Monitoring & Strategic Analysis: Lead insightful and actionable social media performance reports, providing data-driven recommendations through monthly reports and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Conduct competitive analysis and use social media analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics) to track performance, identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Support client community presentations and reports, proactively manage expectations, needs, assets and approvals, and collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Innovation & Industry Leadership: Continuously explore and implement the latest social media trends, tools and technologies, while participating in industry events and sharing knowledge to drive innovation and position SHARE as a thought leader.

Skills & experience
- Proven experience in a social media management role, ideally in an agency environment or in-house for a consumer brand, with experience in community management a must for the role.
- Demonstrable success in developing, leading, and executing impactful social media strategies that have delivered measurable results for consumer brands.
- Deep understanding of the nuances and best practices for various social media platforms, with specific expertise in TikTok and experience building content and communities for brands.
- Experience using social media analytics, management and scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) to track, interpret and report on performance.
- Strong understanding and use of social tech relevant to content creation and community management, with solid design principles, basic photo/video editing skills, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a strong portfolio showcasing impactful social media campaigns, hands-on content creation and community-building initiatives.
