Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Community Manager. The Community Manager will oversee online communities, engage with users across social and professional platforms, and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Moderating discussions
  • Collecting and sharing user feedback with internal teams
  • Fostering a supportive, informative environment for customers, partners, and prospects
  • Creating and scheduling community-focused content
  • Organizing virtual events or webinars
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent messaging
  • Tracking key engagement metrics
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen community relationships
  • Supporting initiatives that grow and retain the Babel Cover user base

Qualifications

  • Community management and online engagement skills, including experience moderating forums or social media groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial or technology concepts clearly.
  • Basic content creation skills, such as drafting posts, newsletters, or event announcements tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience using social media, community platforms, or CRM tools to manage interactions and monitor engagement.
  • Organizational and time-management skills suitable for a part-time, remote environment, including ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Familiarity with financial services, insurance, or technology sectors is beneficial, as is prior experience in insurtech or fintech communities.
  • Comfort working in a distributed team, with openness to feedback and collaboration across different time zones and functions.
  • Relevant education or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, or a related field is advantageous.
