THE ROLE:
This is a unique opportunity to join the rapidly growing team for VCCP Social team as a client-facing Social Media Manager on a Gen Z brand. The role is perfectly suited for someone with experience working either agency or client side in a fast-moving social media management role. The ideal candidate is passionate about community management, brand culture, and most crucially, possesses a deep, nuanced understanding of Gen Z, language, and culture in the UK.
You will be the voice of the brand, engaging with the core audience and transforming their social channels into fame-driving, culturally relevant platforms. They know how to speak the audience's lingo and are at the forefront of both social and dating trends. The role is for a new account at VCCP Social Club. We are responsible for their always-on content strategy, creative development, content production, influencer management, and management of their social channels, including Threads, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The work we will be creating will span from reactive same-day turnaround to longer-lasting content series, specific to each social channel. The role will include managing an agile process to deliver reactive ‘newsroom’ style content, alongside longer development cycles for planned cultural moments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
