Company Description

That’s All, Folx! – Hosting Creative Resilience is a mission-driven podcast and media platform that centers the real, unfiltered stories of creative professionals. The show focuses on newcomers and emerging talents in entertainment, highlighting both their challenges and successes. By amplifying disabled, neurodivergent, and underrepresented artists, the platform demonstrates that there is space for everyone in creative industries. Through conversations, social channels, and listener engagement, That’s All, Folx! aims to foster inclusion, spark awareness, and encourage resilient creativity across diverse communities.

Role Description

The Community Manager (Volunteers Only) is a full-time remote role responsible for nurturing and growing the That’s All, Folx! community across social media and digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Moderating comments and discussions
  • Engaging with listeners and followers on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels
  • Responding to direct messages and inquiries in a timely, inclusive manner
  • Planning and executing community-centered campaigns
  • Supporting podcast episode launches
  • Collaborating with the core team on content ideas, events, and listener outreach
  • Tracking engagement metrics
  • Gathering feedback from the audience
  • Helping maintain a welcoming, respectful environment aligned with the mission of amplifying diverse voices

Qualifications

  • Strong community engagement skills, including moderating online discussions, responding to messages, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
  • Experience with social media platforms (especially Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, and Patreon) and basic understanding of audience growth and engagement strategies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and representation, especially regarding disabled, neurodivergent, and minority communities.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle full-time volunteer responsibilities in a remote setting.
  • Comfort collaborating in virtual environments and using digital tools for coordination and content planning.
  • Prior experience in community management, digital marketing, or fan engagement in creative or entertainment fields is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring empathy, creativity, and reliability to a mission-driven volunteer role.
