Community Mental Health Nurse Opportunity
Applications are invited for a Community Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary Older People’s Community Mental Health Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health problems
- Current knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing
- Provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting people within their homes and communities
- Provide mental health liaison support within residential/nursing care where required
- Provide a supervisory role to junior members of staff within the nursing team
- Fulfil the CMHT Duty Worker role

Hours of Work
- 36 per week, 0830-1630/Monday – Friday
- As part of ongoing and future service development within Perth City Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team, you may be required to provide care within a 7-day service.
