Position: Community Mental Health Nurses with Older Adult Mental Health Experience
We are looking for two enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurses with Older Adult Mental Health experience to join our Caithness Community Mental Health team based at Town & County Hospital, Wick.

Your Role
Your role will be with adults over the age of 65 or of any age if a memory concern.
- Assessment
- Care planning, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan in partnership with the client, family, and carers
- Involvement in assessment and management of ongoing risk
- Medication monitoring
- Liaising with Psychiatrists, Primary Care, and other Social Care services, referring on to other services as appropriate
- Being an active member of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
- Supervising students and Support Workers on occasion
Requirements
- The applicant would be required to travel efficiently and effectively to undertake the role.
- A full driving license is essential, and a pool car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
- Applicants must be registered with the NMC and work within the code of conduct at all times.
