About the Company
Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall (CASW) is a local charity providing free, confidential and independent advice and support to people across Sandwell and Walsall. We help people understand their rights, resolve problems and make informed decisions across areas such as benefits, debt, housing, employment and consumer issues. As The People’s Champion, our aim is to provide advice and support that empowers our communities to thrive across Sandwell and Walsall. About the Role
This is a fixed-term contract to 31st December 2027 with the potential to become permanent, subject to the availability of ongoing funding and business requirements.

We’re looking for Community Navigators to join Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall and provide person-centred, non-clinical support to people affected by gaming and gambling-related harms. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll work alongside specialist treatment providers and other local organisations, helping people address the wider issues that can affect their lives – from debt and financial hardship to housing, employment, benefits, relationships and wellbeing.
- You’ll build trusted relationships with clients, understand their individual circumstances, agree realistic goals and support them to take positive steps towards greater independence and wellbeing.
- As part of Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall, you’ll also be able to connect people with our specialist advice services, ensuring they receive holistic support tailored to their individual needs.
- You’ll manage your own caseload, maintain accurate case records, work closely with partner organisations and contribute to community engagement and awareness activities.
