Part Time Community Staff Nurse Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Community Staff Nurse to join the Stowmarket Integrated Community Team. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
About the Team
The team is integrated, motivated, and forward-thinking, consisting of Therapists, Social Workers, Nurses, and Support Staff.
Our Primary Function
Our primary function is to provide health and social care to patients in their home environment, promoting independence and avoiding hospital admission. We also run clinics at base such as Leg Ulcer, Falls, and Line care.
The team works with 3 GP practices, and there is a wealth of experience and knowledge within the current members of the team.
Key Requirements
- Motivated and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Use your own car for work.
- Please note internal applicants will be offered on a secondment basis only.
Responsibilities
- Provision of nursing care, e.g., wound care, catheter care, leg ulcer care, palliative and end-of-life care, diabetic care.
- Supporting others to learn, such as junior staff and students.
- Work with partner organisations to promote wellbeing and independence.
- Work effectively and autonomously within a supportive team.
