Role Overview
We are seeking to employ Community Nursery Nurses with an NNEB or NVQ Level 3 in Childcare to our Health Visiting teams to work across various sites in Barnet. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we expand our Community Nursery Nurse provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective communication skills due to the nature of the role in working with children and families.
- Proactive communication with colleagues and partners is essential to ensure local health priorities are addressed to improve health outcomes for children in Barnet.
- Good IT skills are essential for the role.
- Involved in delivering key aspects of the Healthy Child Programme.
- Support the development of the service and work with colleagues and partners to ensure the delivery of a safe and effective Universal Health Provision as delegated by the Health Visitor/Team Leader.
- Assess children's development, supporting families with infant feeding and child development.
