Role Overview
We are looking for someone to work as a member of the health visiting team assisting in the provision of a comprehensive health visiting service to deliver the healthy child programme to an identified population, promoting and preserving the health of individuals, families and communities. The post holder will support child development reviews/clinics for the service and will be a support on the delivery of public health initiatives as directed by public health commissioners.

Responsibilities
- Supporting healthy child clinics/reviews and developmental reviews.
- Supporting the health visiting team by undertaking universal contacts, and package of care.
- Supporting the delivery of public health initiatives.
- Support the Infection control link/resource for the team.

The Small Print
- Informal visits can be arranged on request.
- We will offer you the choice of two pension schemes; the NHS Pension scheme and the Scottish Widows Group Pension Scheme.
- At this time, MCH cannot fund or support any further nurses who require the OSCE training. Please do not apply if you require this training.
- MCH is considering merging with Kent Community Health Foundation Trust (KCHFT). If the merger goes ahead, the proposed transfer date is 30th September 2026 and this role will be subject to TUPE transfer to KCHFT.
