Vacancy Introduction
At Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, we believe in providing exceptional care that goes beyond the ordinary, and we need someone like you to help us achieve that vision.
When you join us, we will work with you to develop your own personal development plan that supports your learning style. We provide training, clinical supervision and access to a peer support network.
This role is crucial in supporting the Registered Nurses on an evening to enable patients to remain at home and avoid hospital admission.
- You will support the Registered Nurse, responding to intervention call outs between the hours of 5pm and 10pm.
- You may also work alongside a colleague and visit patients to deliver planned care.
You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
- It would be expected that you are available to work on a rota over 7 evenings per week, 365 days per year.
- Your hours of work will be 17.00pm - 22.00pm.
- The role is based from Hunslet Health Centre, though it is expected that you travel across the city of Leeds during your shift to deliver patient care.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
