An Exciting Opportunity for a Community Nursing Deputy Team Lead
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic District Nursing Service as a Community Nursing Deputy Team Lead, to work alongside the team lead to provide leadership and day to day management of the Community Nursing Team. We have vacancies in Blyth, Brockwell, and Hexham, alongside other potential opportunities across Northumberland and North Tyneside.
Role Overview
As a deputy team lead the post holder will establish and maintain robust communication networks with patients, carers, team members, GPs, and other professionals and agencies. You will act as a role model for the Community Nursing service, our patients, and families, exercising accountability for patient care in line with the NMC code of professional conduct.

Additional Information
- The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating packages of care for patients on their caseload, delegating appropriately.
- Provide leadership to inspire and motivate others to high performance by agreeing clear goals and objectives, providing support and guidance, and creating opportunities for development.
- There is a strong commitment to provide excellent leadership through mentorship, coaching, and development for all grades of staff, to provide high-quality patient care in line with Northumbria Healthcare Trusts Vision.

We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck, and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England.
