Company Description
Lavender Common is a UK-registered charity (no. 1210536) funding strategic litigation for LGBTQ+ rights across the Council of Europe. We're funded by thousands of people giving £10 a year, and Community Organisers are how we grow that base, city by city.
The Role
In each of our priority countries, we're organising supporters through a network of regional hubs, each centred on a city. Community Organisers anchor those hubs. You'll be the local face of Lavender Common and the first person new supporters in your area connect with.
What You'll Do
- Recruit new supporters through local outreach, events and your own networks
- Connect LGBTQ+ organisations and allies in your area with our work
- Organise community gatherings, talks and local fundraising
- Be the point of contact for people in your region who want to get involved
- Tell us what's happening on the ground: which issues are live and what your community needs

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
