Salary: £22,089.60 pro rata (FTE £27,612 per annum)
Contract: Fixed term contract until 24-Sep-2027
Hours/ working pattern: Part-time, 30 hours per week.

Popular Felbrigg Hall is one of the most elegant country houses in East Anglia. The rolling landscaped park with its lake, woods and waymarked trails is great for family days out and even boasts ‘buggy-friendly’ walking routes. The fine walled garden grows flowers for the house, as well as vegetables for the local community. Roles within Felbrigg Hall’s team are highly sought after, and the team pride themselves on their commitment to the estate.

What you'll be doing
- Building strong, positive relationships with local communities, organisations and groups
- Developing existing partnerships and co-create projects that deepen engagement and support the vision for the Tamar Valley property group
- Working closely with volunteer managers, offering guidance and helping to grow volunteer pathways
- Creating new opportunities for participation, ensuring they reflect community needs and interests and a changing volunteer landscape
- Taking part in the Duty Management of our properties and sites where needed

- an understanding of community engagement, participatory practice, and volunteer engagement, management, and innovation
- excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to coach and support others and work collaboratively across teams
- a proactive, empathetic, and inclusive approach
- confidence in using data and insight to guide decisions, with experience of improving and innovating processes and systems
- self-motivation and confidence working independently, with the ability to take initiative and manage your own workload effectively
- knowledge of relevant legislation, including safeguarding, GDPR, and equality
- excellent organisational and planning skills to deliver team priorities
