Join Our Community Phlebotomy Team
Do you enjoy working with people and making a difference? If so, have you considered a career working in the NHS?
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to join our Community Phlebotomy Team. No previous experience needed; all training will be provided. You will be fully developed, providing you an opportunity to jump-start your career in healthcare. Flexible hours and job share are available.
Requirements
- Travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle
- Confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria
Responsibilities
- Support service users with their physical health needs, including venepuncture, taking Blood Pressure, weight and height, and other tasks as required
- Work across several neighborhood teams within Cambridge and Ely
- Provide support and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting
- Undertake assigned tasks as a lone worker but with support from a registered nurse, including assisting in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Ensure that issues of equality, diversity, and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation
