Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Phlebotomist to join our busy and supportive team, providing a high-quality phlebotomy service to patients within an integrated team working across the community. This includes:
- Community Nursing
- Intermediate Care
- Community Matrons
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver high-quality care to the housebound patients of Paignton and Brixham and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with primary care and secondary care.
- An ability to effectively communicate routine information to patients/carers where cooperation is required and where there may be barriers to understanding.
- Responsible for planning and organizing own day-to-day work tasks and activities within an occasionally unpredictable environment.
- To obtain high-quality blood samples from patients in the home environment.
