Job Opportunity for Experienced Mental Health Nurses
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Mental Health Nurses to join our County South LMHT teams. We have vacancies within the Broxtowe & Hucknall LMHT.
We will provide the successful candidates the opportunity to develop skills needed to work within a community setting, providing care to an adult population across the Nottingham area, open to secondary care services, within SMI pathways (mood affective, complex psychosis, community rehabilitation and non-psychosis).
Key Responsibilities:
- Access training, and develop skills in working within a specific pathway.
- Provide support to patients and their families to support personalized care plans and provide specialist interventions.
- Promote the recovery of patients and ensure timely and safe discharge from secondary care through working with partner agencies and primary care.
- Complete both triage assessments and more detailed initial assessments of new referrals.
- Provide support via the teams duty system, either from telephone support or face-to-face.

Leadership Role:
- Develop specialist skills in working with patients in at least one pathway within the team.
- Support students and more junior staff within the team through clinical supervision and mentorship, and may be asked to line manage some staff.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and experience to manage complex cases in partnership with other agencies.

- The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
