Job Opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurse
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by eating disorders?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Enhanced Treatment Team Community Outreach Practitioner to join our specialist Eating Disorders Service at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust for a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Enhanced Treatment Team, providing intensive community-based treatment and support to adults experiencing eating disorders. The service aims to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, support earlier discharge from inpatient care, and deliver high-quality treatment within people's homes and local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex eating disorders
- Undertake comprehensive mental and physical health assessments
- Deliver therapeutic interventions
- Provide meal support
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
