Role Purpose
The Psychiatric Community Nurse will provide mental health support and care to patients within the community, working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalised care plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to support recovery and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs and develop personalised care plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions, counselling, and medication management
- Deliver crisis intervention support to help patients manage their conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare and social service providers, support networks, and community resources to facilitate holistic care
- Act as an advocate for patients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental illness

Essential Requirements
- Current NMC registration
- Minimum 6 months' experience within a UK Mental Healthcare setting
- Right to work in the UK
- UK references
