Community Safety Officer

£35,500 per annum – Permanent – Full Time – Hybrid (2 Office Days per week)

This is a great opportunity to join the Housing team at Wandle Housing Association. We’re looking for a highly responsive and customer service focused individual to join as the Community Safety Officer to promote safe and sustainable neighborhoods.

You will deliver a proactive, customer-focused service to residents experiencing low-level anti-social behaviour (ASB), noise nuisance, tenancy breaches, neighborhood disputes, and environmental concerns.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a community safety caseload, taking ownership of cases from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping on all customer interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with neighborhood Officers, Police, local authorities, and other partner agencies to identify issues and implement effective interventions that improve community safety.
  • Initially work in partnership with TPAS to develop a community-focused engagement framework for tenants and, once established, take ownership of managing and developing this approach.
  • Prepare case notes, reports, and correspondence in line with organizational policies and procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
