Community Services Lead | £31,085.60 per year

28 hours per week | Permanent, Part-time

Location: Home-based, with frequent travel across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Yorkshire, and Cambridgeshire

Are you a health and social care manager who brings out the best in people? Can you lead services that make a real difference in local communities?

The role

Making Space is looking for a motivated Community Services Lead to join our Community Division. You will oversee the strategic and operational management of services across several regions.

This is a home-based position involving frequent travel to services and meetings, so access to your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic and operational management of community services.
  • Manage and motivate Service Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Build relationships with commissioners, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support new business growth and client retention.
  • Manage budgets, targets, and outcome reporting.
  • Draw on leadership experience within health and social care.

The person

  • Experience leading teams in health or social care
  • Experience managing budgets, targets, and outcome reporting.
  • A NVQ Level 5 Management qualification in Health and Social Care, or willingness to achieve it within an agreed timeframe.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Values that align with Making Space.

Experience using systems such as Charitylog, Nourish, SharePoint, or Peninsula would be helpful.
