Role Description
This full-time, on-site Community & Social Media Manager role is based at Green People’s flagship store in Horsham, West Sussex. The role involves managing and growing Green People’s social media communities across key platforms, including planning and publishing content that aligns with brand values and campaigns. The Community & Social Media Manager will monitor conversations, respond to comments and messages, and nurture positive, inclusive engagement with customers and followers. Day-to-day tasks include developing social media content strategies, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, coordinating with marketing and retail teams, and reporting on performance metrics. The role also includes identifying collaboration opportunities with influencers and partners, supporting campaign launches, and staying current with social media trends relevant to natural and organic beauty.

- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing brand accounts and driving audience growth and engagement.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills, including the ability to create clear, on-brand messaging and respond professionally to community interactions.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills, including planning content calendars, aligning posts with marketing objectives, and tailoring content to different platforms and audiences.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in community management, customer engagement, or digital marketing within retail, cosmetics, or a related consumer brand.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with social media analytics tools, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- A relevant qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is beneficial; interest in organic, ethical, and cruelty-free beauty is an advantage.
