Community Staff Nurse – South & City Community Nursing Team
Are you looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same? Do you want to make a real difference to people’s lives by delivering care in their own homes?
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Staff Nurse to join our friendly and supportive South & City Community Nursing Team within Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Working within our Planned Care Service, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to individuals with a wide range of health needs, including long-term conditions, complex wound care, and palliative care. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care while promoting independence and self-management. The service operates across a seven-day rota to ensure patients receive the support they need when they need it.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your community nursing career, with access to ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and specialist training opportunities. Applicants must hold current NMC registration and be able to travel extensively across the district to undertake patient visits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
