Role Overview
Due to maternity leave within our team, a fixed-term opportunity has arisen to support children and young people with complex health needs across a variety of settings. These include Glenmar Residential House, private residences throughout Fife, and educational environments.
This service operates as part of the wider Children and Young People’s Community Nursing Service (CYPCNS). We work collaboratively with partners across Health and Social Care, the third sector, and Education to deliver high-quality, holistic care.
Job Description
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated Registered Nurse who is committed to providing safe, effective, and child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to children and young people with exceptional healthcare needs.
- Ensure consistently high standards of care are delivered.
- Provide training and supervision to nursing staff, healthcare support workers, education and social care staff, as well as students.
- Work alongside the Nurse Team Leader to ensure all aspects of the Child’s Plan are implemented effectively.
- Support and supervise junior staff members and parents in the day-to-day delivery of care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience of working with children and young people with complex or exceptional healthcare needs would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-agency team.

Salary
Salary is pro rata for part-time hours if applicable.

- A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
