We are offering an exciting opportunity to join us as an NMC Registered Community Staff Nurse to work in our busy and supportive Farnborough Community Nursing Team.
This is a part-time position.
Many people would be unable to live at home without the support they receive from the community nursing teams and community services are receiving referrals for patients with more complex needs than ever before, with increasingly specialist treatment and care being provided by highly skilled staff.
Our Community Nursing teams assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients within a home / clinic setting, in line with evidence-based practice. By joining our team, you will be able to experience the difference this makes to families within the community.
Due to the nature of community working, ability to travel across the patch to provide care to patients is essential.
This post is also suitable for newly qualified nurses.
As part of your role as a Community Nurse, you will demonstrate commitment to providing high standards of holistic care to our patients.
You will be competent, or willing to gain competency in skills such as (but not an exhaustive list) long-term condition management, line care, complex wound care, and bladder & bowel management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
