Interested in working with individuals recovering from a stroke in Warwickshire?

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, organised and enthusiastic individual to join the community stroke service across north Warwickshire as a generic rehabilitation assistant. This involves working alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, dieticians and psychologists to deliver high quality person centred care.

The post available is for our South Warwickshire Team based at Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital.

In this post, you will be working with a large team of therapists from different disciplines working within community stroke services. Your role will be to help provide timely and targeted care to patients in their own home in line with national stroke guidelines and you will receive ongoing support.

We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for patient centred care and is a real team player. Some experience of working within a healthcare setting is desirable but more importantly a passion for working with people, excellent communication skills, flexibility, good time management and organisational skills are essential for this post.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
