Part Time Community Support Worker
We are looking to recruit a part-time Community Support Worker for our Physical Disability Team. Reporting to the Advanced Practitioner, the successful post holder will be responsible for providing services to vulnerable people of Bedford Borough who require assessment for care packages.
Key Requirements
- Academic Achievement: Good level of academic achievement with GCSE English, or equivalent.
- Experience and Skills:
- Experience of working in the community with adults with a disability.
- Knowledge of disability and awareness of the barriers that individuals may face within the community.
- Good level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to write clear and concise records on the client database.
- Teamwork: Experience or demonstrated ability to work as part of a team ensuring that the health and wellbeing of working-age people are paramount to service delivery and help to deliver excellent services to the residents of Bedford Borough.
