Could You Be the Person Someone Looks Forward to Seeing?

For some people, a visit from their carer is about much more than practical support.

It might be the conversation they have been looking forward to, the reassurance they need to start their day, or the support that enables them to continue living independently in the home they love.

Louisa Homecare Ltd is looking for compassionate, dependable Community Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our team.

We have both full-time and part-time care positions available, making this an opportunity for experienced carers as well as people looking to begin a rewarding career in health and social care.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Community Support Worker, you'll visit clients in their own homes and provide support based around their individual needs, choices, and routines.

Your duties may include:

  • Supporting clients with personal care while protecting their dignity and privacy
  • Assisting with medication in accordance with individual care plans
  • Preparing meals and drinks
  • Supporting mobility and safe movement around the home
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping with everyday activities and household tasks
  • Encouraging clients to maintain their independence
  • Recognising and reporting changes in a client's health or wellbeing
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Communicating with clients, families, carers, and the office team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
