Department: Maternity Services
Band 7, £49,387 - £56,515 Per annum pro rata
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated midwife to develop and lead a dedicated Homebirth Team.
This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical expertise with operational and professional leadership, supporting a team dedicated to delivering safe, personalised and woman-centred care across community settings. You will provide visible leadership and professional support to the Homebirth Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in line with national guidance, local policies and the Trust's strategic objectives.
Working closely with community and maternity colleagues, you will champion continuity of care, promote informed choice and support women and families who choose homebirth as part of their maternity journey. You will play a key role in service development, quality improvement, staff wellbeing and the ongoing development of a positive team culture.

About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring leader who:
- Is a registered Midwife with substantial post-registration experience.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Is passionate about personalised care, continuity and supporting informed choice.
- Has experience of managing and developing staff within a maternity setting.
- Is committed to service improvement, safety and high-quality outcomes for women, babies and families.
- Thrives within multidisciplinary teams and values collaboration and innovation.
