Community Team Manager Opportunity
About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Community Team Manager has arisen with the West Norfolk Community Mental Health Team, based at Chatterton House. The team is supported by two Community Team Managers so you will work closely with another Community Team Manager.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. This role provides operational leadership to a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and recovery-focused care for adults with complex mental health needs. The post holder is responsible for team performance, workforce management, clinical governance, patient flow, risk management and service improvement, working collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for service users and carers. They will promote high standards of quality, staff wellbeing and continuous improvement in line with organisational objectives and professional standards.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide visible, compassionate and effective leadership for the West Norfolk Community Mental Health Team, maintaining a strong presence across the service and fostering a positive culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.

- Lead and manage the day-to-day operational delivery of the Community Mental Health Team, ensuring the provision of safe, effective and recovery-focused care.
- Support, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary workforce, promoting staff wellbeing, professional development and high-quality clinical practice.
- Ensure appropriate caseload management, workload allocation, capacity planning and workforce deployment to meet service demand safely and effectively.
- Maintain robust clinical governance processes, including risk management, safeguarding, incident reporting, quality assurance and compliance with organisational policies.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, primary care, acute services, social care and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated, person-centred care.
- Lead service improvement and transformation initiatives, supporting the implementation of best practice and innovation across the team.
- Act as a professional role model and ambassador for the organisation's values, promoting equality, inclusion, learning and high standards of patient care.
