Job Opportunity: Community Team Manager in Acute Mental Health
Are you an experienced manager or leader within an acute mental health setting? Do you have experience or an interest in working with service users in crisis? Then we want to hear from you.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, skilled professional from a Nursing, Social Work (with additional mental health training), or Occupational Therapy background.
We are excited to be recruiting a Community Team Manager to join our dynamic acute service in West Norfolk at a time of genuine transformation and innovation.
Our service is evolving as part of a wider commitment to improve our pathways for the service users we work with. This creates a unique opportunity to be part of shaping a modern, responsive mental health service for those experiencing acute mental health challenges.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide strong operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care to those with acute mental health needs and their families. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day service delivery, managing performance, and ensuring that care is responsive, evidence-based, and aligned with national and local standards.

- Lead, support, and develop a diverse team of practitioners, fostering a positive and inclusive culture that promotes staff wellbeing, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Supervise staff, manage caseloads, and ensure effective risk management and safeguarding practices are embedded across the service.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, support quality assurance processes, and drive improvements to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Ensure that the service remains responsive to the needs of the local population while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
