We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Tutor to deliver engaging learning programmes for Wiltshire's most vulnerable learners to develop skills, gain qualifications, improve their confidence, and progress into further learning, employment, apprenticeships, or volunteering opportunities.
As a Community Tutor, you will plan, develop and deliver high-quality learning programmes that meet learners' individual needs and help them achieve their goals, whatever their starting point.
Working with people from a range of backgrounds, you will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that motivates learners and builds their aspirations.
You will:

We are looking for someone with experience of working with disadvantaged learners, or individuals facing barriers to learning and progression. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build positive relationships and inspire learners to achieve their potential.
You will have:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
