The Truelove Group is a diversified group of companies operating in house building, agriculture, property management and investment. The company was founded in 1968 and has a combined turnover in the region of £20m. We are forward thinking with the next generation ambitious and keen to drive the companies forward.
We are a family run business with strong family ethics and we are looking for a dynamic, experienced and hands-on Company Accountant based in our head office in the Cathedral Quarter of Lincoln.
The role
The position will involve providing periodic management accounting, insightful financial analysis to enable commercial decision making, preparing and reporting on monthly cashflows and enhancing the existing financial processes and reporting across the businesses, along with working with non-financial team members in the production of cashflows and analysing construction costs and overheads etc to enable detailed projections for profits. This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

You will be responsible for the management of the accounts team to have efficient and robust accounting practices which enables timely financial deadlines and smooth running of the accounting procedures. Liaising with the external accountants for the preparation of the annual financial statements for each company.

About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA with a minimum of 3 years experience, ideally in the construction industry, although not essential.
- Experienced in commercial accounting, ideally within a group structure.
- Confident working independently and managing competing priorities.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of wider business implications of financial information.
- Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail.
The salary is between £55,000 - £70,000 p/a depending upon experience and qualifications
