Your new company

You will be joining a leading professional services firm with an established international presence and a strong reputation within its specialist field. The organisation operates across the UK and internationally, providing high-quality services to a broad client base. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and professional working environment in Birmingham.

Your new role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Birmingham, with hybrid working and occasional travel required approximately once or twice per month.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating partnership, board and senior leadership meetings
  • Preparing agendas and meeting papers
  • Taking detailed notes and minutes
  • Monitoring key deadlines
  • Tracking actions through to completion
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for senior stakeholders
  • Supporting governance and compliance processes
  • Assisting with statutory filings and insurance renewals
  • Providing administrative support for business projects and strategic initiatives

In addition, you will provide dedicated executive support to a senior international leader for approximately one day per week. This will include:

  • Maintaining reports and presentations
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel
  • Supporting visa applications
  • Managing key actions and priorities

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a minimum of two years' experience in an executive assistant, company secretarial or partnership secretarial support role. You will ideally be qualified or part-qualified with CGI/ACG, hold an equivalent qualification, or demonstrate a strong interest in beginning the Company Secretary qualification.

You will have experience coordinating senior-level meetings and events, preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes or detailed notes, and monitoring actions. Strong organisational, administrative and planning skills are essential, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

You will be confident managing multiple priorities, handling confidential information with discretion and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders. A proactive approach to improving processes and strong proficiency across Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint will also be required.
