Company Secretarial Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an established team supporting a portfolio of investment trusts and listed entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Company Secretary and boards with meetings, agendas, papers and Diligent board packs.
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including diaries, rooms, agendas and logistics.
  • Prepare skeleton agendas, coordinate board papers and build Diligent meeting packs.
  • Support meetings by taking first-draft minutes and maintaining action schedules.
  • Circulate papers, draft minutes and notifications to directors and Chairs.
  • Arrange approval and signing of finalised minutes.
  • Assisting with minutes, action schedules, statutory registers and Companies House filings.
  • Supporting share issuances/buybacks and regulatory announcements via RNS.
  • Maintaining governance records, Diligent Entities and corporate calendars.
  • Supporting operational risk committees and wider governance activities.

  • Company Secretarial or corporate governance experience.
  • Financial Services experience
  • Knowledge of Companies House, RNS, LSE and NSM advantageous.
  • Experience of Diligent software advantageous
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.

Hybrid working

4 days per week in the office; 1 day from home (with occasional flexibility).
