Company Secretarial Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading London professional services firm for an experienced governance professional to join its growing team. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of predominantly listed clients, while contributing to team development and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of listed and private company clients.
  • Lead Board and Committee meeting cycles, including agendas, papers, and minutes.
  • Support AGMs and other general meetings.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance on MAR, RNS announcements, and governance disclosures.
  • Oversee statutory registers and corporate records.
  • Support annual reports, IPO preparation, M&A, and other corporate projects.
  • Develop junior colleagues and contribute to business development activities.

Key Skills

  • CGI-qualified, qualified lawyer, or chartered accountant.
  • At least 4 years' relevant company secretarial experience, including 3+ years with listed companies.
  • Strong Board and Committee support experience.
  • Good knowledge of corporate governance, MAR, and statutory compliance.
  • Diligent Entities experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills.
  • Professional services experience is advantageous.

Hybrid Working

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office. Some UK travel for client meetings may also be required.
