Senior Manager Governance Lead

Senior Manager Governance Lead is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.

Your new role

We have the opportunity of a Senior Manager Governance Lead, you will be providing governance advisory support to senior leadership and operational teams, including direct engagement with the CEO and Executive Committee.

  • Contract Length: 6 months (visibility of extension)
  • Location: Paddington, London (2 days onsite)
  • Daily rate: Competitive pay rate (Inside IR35)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours

Role Purpose

As a Senior Manager Governance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of corporate governance across the investments vision, including the investments and ventures portfolios and key group entities, ensuring robust governance frameworks, effective board support, regulatory compliance and risk oversight. The role combines traditional company secretary responsibilities with broader governance leadership, supporting directors, executive leadership teams and investment boards with a mind to generate risk, assurance and compliance frameworks for the investments.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, risk frameworks, and governance best practices.
  • Significant governance and Company Secretariat experience.
  • Experience supporting boards, committees, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to advise senior leadership on governance and risk-related matters.
  • Experience within regulated environments would be beneficial, particularly housing regulation, where CoSec functions often have responsibility for risk, assurance, and policy.
