An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary (or a lawyer with a corporate background seeking a more balanced work/life balance) to help take on the management of our Company Secretarial Team and help drive its growth.
The Company Secretarial Team comprises specialists who assist and advise our clients on a comprehensive range of company secretarial issues from company (and other entity) formations; dissolutions; drafting board/shareholder resolutions (to address various situations); managing client's registers and filings at Companies House; advising on governance and boardroom best practice; and working closely with and supporting our international award-winning corporate team.
The Company Secretary Manager will help to manage the firm’s Company Secretarial function, delivering a high-quality, compliant, and commercially focused service to a wide portfolio range of UK and international clients. This role combines management of the team, technical governance expertise, client management, and strategic development of the firm’s CoSec offering. Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
