A Company Secretary Role with a Difference!
We are working with an innovative, fast-growing business that is looking for a Company Secretary who enjoys thinking differently, challenging convention, and finding new ways to solve problems.
This is a six-month contract offering the chance to join a highly ambitious business at an exciting stage of its growth. You will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary, taking ownership across a broad range of company secretarial and corporate matters.
What You Will Be Doing
This is a role where you can genuinely make it your own. You will have the freedom to identify what is not working, improve processes, and find creative, practical solutions rather than simply following a playbook. You will:

- Work closely with stakeholders across the business, building relationships and providing practical advice.
- Support board agendas, meetings, and the AGM.
- Advise on shareholder matters and Companies Act requirements.
- Provide regulatory and wider company secretarial advice.
- Identify opportunities to improve how things are done and put new solutions into practice.
- Be comfortable working where there may not be an established precedent, using your judgement and creativity to find the right approach.
About You
We are looking for a qualified Company Secretary who:
- Is immediately available or available at short notice.
- Financial services experience is beneficial.
- Is proactive, curious, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
- Is open-minded and willing to challenge traditional ways of working.
- Is creative, solutions-focused, and confident taking ownership.
- Has an interest in AI.
