Company Secretary

Our client is seeking a Company Secretary to join their collaborative Corporate Governance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious governance professional looking to build their company secretarial career within a complex and regulated environment while gaining exposure to Executive Committees, Boards, and senior leadership teams.

The Opportunity

As Governance Lead, you will play a key role in supporting Executive, Board, and Committee governance activities, ensuring governance processes are delivered efficiently and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Group Company Secretary and wider governance function, you will help maintain high standards of corporate governance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end coordination of Executive Committee meetings, including agenda planning, paper management, minute taking, action tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support Board, Committee, and management meetings through effective meeting administration and governance support.
  • Prepare accurate, concise, and professional meeting minutes and decision records.
  • Maintain statutory records and entity information within company secretarial systems.
  • Manage Know Your Customer (KYC) records and governance documentation for group entities.
  • Support audits, regulatory requests, and due diligence exercises by coordinating governance information and documentation.
  • Maintain governance policies, registers, templates, and process documentation.
  • Provide support on governance projects, reporting, and wider company secretarial activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve governance processes and service delivery.

Required

  • Experience working in governance, company secretarial, or corporate administration roles.
  • Knowledge of legal, statutory, and corporate governance processes.
  • Exceptional minute-writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time-management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence liaising with senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
