Role: Compensation Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid, minimum 3 days/week in office)
Salary: £70,000 plus strong discretionary bonus and excellent benefits
Middlemore have been retained by an international PLC in the financial and professional services sector to recruit a highly skilled Compensation Analyst, working with the Director of Group Compensation and Benefits.
The role offers an exceptional opportunity for professional development – whether that be into the wider world of global Total Reward, or deepening your expertise as a Compensation Analyst; there is no ceiling in this position.
As the sole Compensation Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in delivering everything from regulatory reporting to supporting annual comp reviews – this role gives you genuine autonomy and ownership from day one, benefiting from the support and development of an experienced Global Director.

Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Regulatory reporting: Gender Pay Gap, CEO Pay Ratio, FCA Remuneration submissions – prior experience of this will be required
- Salary benchmarking
- Full annual compensation review cycle: data reconciliation, UAT, bonus apportionments, stakeholder distribution
- Share scheme administration: LTIP, SAYE, executive options, monthly share tracking
- Producing remuneration reports for UK statutory directors
- Payroll costings and business insurance data
- Ad hoc HR projects and reporting to senior leadership, including CFO and CEO

What We're Looking For
- 5–10+ years' experience as a Compensation Analyst
- Expert-level Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, macros, complex workbooks)
- Experience with systems such as SuccessFactors, ResourceLink and/or Payscale Curo would be desirable, but is not required
- Able to deliver the full technical comp remit unsupported from day one
- Curious, problem-solving mindset, not just transactional
