Compensation Associate

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Compensation Associate to join its Corporate Compensation team on a 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting compensation strategy, governance, analysis and execution across a complex international business.

Location: London
Work Schedule: 5 days in office

Salary: £300 - £400 per day

Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders, you will provide compensation analysis, market insight and advisory support to help drive informed reward decisions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a broad range of compensation activities including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, retention programmes, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Produce detailed compensation analysis, modelling and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters and best practice.
  • Monitor market trends and benchmarking data to support competitive reward programmes.
  • Contribute to annual compensation processes and regulatory compensation activities across the EMEA region.
  • Support compensation policy reviews, process improvement initiatives and systems enhancements.
  • Drive efficiencies through improved reporting, analytics and process simplification.

About You

  • Previous experience within Compensation, Reward, HR Analytics, HR.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and present clear recommendations to senior audiences.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High levels of attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience using reporting tools such as Business Objects would be advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to compensation planning, market benchmarking, reward governance or regulatory compensation requirements would be beneficial.
