Compensation & Data Analyst

London - Hybrid (3 days in the office)
£55,000 - £65,000 base plus very competitive bonus and benefits.

The Opportunity

Our client is a prestigious London-based financial services organisation currently looking for a Compensation & Data Analyst to join its People team. You'll start by running an established reward cycle. From there, you'll help build the modelling behind an evolving approach to pay, with a real focus on automation and smarter use of data. It's a rare chance to shape how reward works, rather than simply maintain it.

Key responsibilities

  • Run the annual compensation model and support the end-to-end reward cycle
  • Build new pay modelling as the organisation's reward methodology evolves
  • Produce gender and ethnicity pay gap reporting
  • Support job sizing and benchmarking for new roles
  • Provide reward analysis and clear insight to senior stakeholders
  • Automate recurring processes so models can be refreshed with new data each year rather than rebuilt
  • Help shape the use of AI and self-service tools that give managers secure, controlled access to reward data

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Experience automating processes using Power Query, Power BI, VBA, SQL, Python or similar is a strong advantage
  • A genuine curiosity about AI, combined with sound judgement on data confidentiality
  • A confident, articulate communicator who can explain their analysis clearly and stand behind it when challenged
  • Financial services or insurance experience is welcome but not essential
