Eden Scott are supporting a well-established energy business in Aberdeen in the search for an experienced Competence Assurance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring effective delivery of Competence Assurance activities. This role supports business objectives through the development and implementation of training and competence strategies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Develop and implement a Competence Assurance Strategy aligned to short and long-term business objectives
- Lead the identification, development, and delivery of Technical Training to support operational and organisational needs
- Support and develop a team of Regional and Product Line technical trainers, ensuring high standards of service delivery
- Oversee the training needs analysis process, using data to prioritise training requirements (courses, locations, target groups) and evaluate training effectiveness
- Recommend and implement cost-effective training and competence solutions that improve business performance

Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Experience within Workshop, Operational, and Competence Assurance environments
- Proven training and coaching experience
- Experience in the maintenance of downhole equipment
- Operational experience in more than one of the following areas: Wellbore clean up, Well abandonment, Downhole drilling tools, Expandable liners
