Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment are representing a leading international law firm with a highly regarded Competition & Antitrust team in London. The team advises major international clients across a broad range of sectors and is involved in some of the most complex competition matters globally.
The Team
The team has a genuinely international practice, advising on complex merger control, cartel, market investigation, enforcement, and dominance matters across multiple jurisdictions. They also have significant expertise in FDI and FSR, working closely with colleagues across the firm's Trade & Sanctions and Disputes practices.
The team has an impressive depth of experience, including lawyers with previous experience at leading competition authorities, giving them a particularly strong understanding of the regulatory landscape.

The Role
This is an opportunity for a Competition & Antitrust lawyer to join the team, working on a broad range of sophisticated matters for major multinational clients.
Your work could include multi-jurisdictional merger control, foreign investment, market investigations, cartel and abuse of dominance matters, as well as antitrust litigation and wider regulatory advice. You’ll work closely with colleagues across different jurisdictions and practice areas, with exposure to clients across sectors including technology, financial services, energy, infrastructure, and consumer goods.
There will also be the opportunity to develop client relationships and contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Competition & Antitrust lawyer with strong experience across a broad range of competition law matters, ideally gained within a leading City practice or highly regarded international firm.

You’ll have excellent academics, strong technical and drafting skills, and a commercial approach to your work. Experience working on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters and alongside international teams will be important.
The team is looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded, and confident dealing directly with clients, with a genuine interest in developing relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
