About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Complaints & Consumer Duty Lead to join our growing team in London. As a high-impact role, this position will be pivotal in shaping complaint management frameworks and ensuring compliance with UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Consumer Duty regulations across our business and Delegated Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complaints oversight, including:
- Data consolidation and reporting
- Root cause analysis and trend identification
- Collaborate closely with Delegated Partners to:
- Develop and maintain effective complaint-handling frameworks
- Provide expertise in:
- Training and guidance on complaints management processes and Consumer Duty obligations
- Conducting audits and reviews to assess adherence to FCA standards
- Perform Fair Value Assessments to evaluate customer outcomes comprehensively
- Analyze Consumer Duty data and present critical insights to governance committees
- Support and align with broader global compliance initiatives and projects

Requirements
The ideal candidate will display the following skills and attributes:
- 5+ years of experience in Conduct Risk or Compliance, specializing in the insurance industry
- Deep understanding of FCA regulations, including Consumer Duty, Distance Communications Directive (DISP)
- Practical experience leading complaints functions in regulated sectors, preferably within a Delegated Authority/MGA or Lloyd’s market environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities to drive change
- Analytical mindset, adept at deriving actionable insights from data
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance
