My client is a growing Bridging Finance lender with a long-standing, established presence in the UK. With great backing and appetite to lend, they work with SMEs across all sectors to deliver fast, flexible and tailored funding solutions. Due to their continued growth, we're looking for a detail-driven Completions Executive to own the legal part of the lending process and ensure bridging loans move smoothly from offer to drawdown.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the completions pipeline and drive cases to payout
- Review legal reports, undertakings, searches, CoTs and completion statements
- Ensure all legal CPs are satisfied and documents match credit approval
- Liaise with solicitors, brokers and borrowers to resolve outstanding legal items
- Challenge solicitors where documentation is incorrect or incomplete
- Complete AML/KYC checks and maintain accurate records
- Protect the lender’s security position and escalate risks where needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
