Female Paediatric Complex Care Specialist - Regional Support Team
Location
North East Region (Newcastle, Gateshead, North & South Tyneside, Sunderland)
Pay
£14.24-£16.00 per hour (including holiday pay) + 30 p per mile
Fully funded Enhanced DBS
Shifts
- Various shifts available, including 6-hour, 8-hour and 12-hour day and night shifts.
- Weekend availability required, guaranteed hours available after successful probation
Essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

About The Role
Routes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Paediatric Regional Complex Care Team and is looking for experienced care professionals to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs across the North East.

You will provide specialist one-to-one and two-to-one care, supporting clients with:
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning and airway management
- Ventilation support
- Complex personal care
- Neurological and spinal injury support
- Clinical observations and monitoring
- Promoting independence, wellbeing and quality of life
Travel across the region is required, with mileage paid.

Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 6 months' paid UK care experience
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Compassionate, reliable and professional approach
Desirable
- Previous paediatric care experience
- Tracheostomy, suctioning or ventilation experience
- Complex care experience
- Spinal injury or neurological care experience
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
